Horror Vacui | a docudrama in 14 stations', the notorious artwork that was realized in Tilburg in 2008 by artists Nick J. Swarth and Jeroen de Leijer, is being auctioned. The auction is mainly online, under the supervision of Venduehuis Dickhaut from Maastricht. On April 16 at 19:00 there is also opportunity to place LIVE bids in theatre NWE Vorst under supervision of Auction House Dickhaut with comedian Paul Haenen aka reverant Gremdaat as auctioneer.
The online auction opens on Friday April 6 and can be followed via www.veilingmaastricht.nl. Images and descriptions of the works will also be shown there. Prior to the auction on April 16 there are viewing days on April 14 and 15 from 11 am to 5 pm in theater NWE Vorst, Willem II street 49, Tilburg. The artists Nick J. Swarth and Jeroen de Leijer are present to give you a guided tour of al the works.
The proceeds of the auction will benefit Quiet Community. Quiet wants to draw attention to poverty by actively involving the citizens of the city.
